Parade of Lights in Great Falls, MT
Photographer: Tim Austin
Great Falls, MT was packed with people from all over the country to attend the Annual Great Falls, MT Christmas Stroll, First Friday Art Walk, Parade of Lights, Christmas Tree Lighting, and the Polar Plunge (Special Olympics Fund Raiser). The Christmas Stroll and First Friday Art Walk started out with Saxophone solos in Times Square with Matt Austin, Cole Bass and other who then combined to play Christmas music together in Times Square. Various Art Galleries where filled with new works of art, and they will filled with people and musicians celebrating the Spirit of Christmas. Bert & Ernie's packed the house with Jeni Dodd playing on stage. "Reflection" photo's hung on the West Wall as part of the Urban Art Project. The Parade of Lights followed with a number of lit up vehicles, Miss Linda's school of dance, the Great Falls Historic Trolley and others, and of course Santa in his sleigh. The parade stopped at the Great Falls Civic Center where Santa magically lit the Great Falls Christmas Tree and other lights around the City of Great Falls. The Polar Plunge was jam packed with people and there were 180 crazy plungers willing to jump into the ICE WATER to help raise money for the Special Olympics.
